Selero Connectors are the asynchronous gateways into the synchronous environment of the Selero Integration Product Suite. They provide transport-agnostic access to external systems by establishing sessions and capturing raw messages from sourcing applications, and by establishing sessions using IP addresses and ports to pass messages to destination systems. They are typically implemented to function bi-directionally, but they don’t need to be.

Pre-Built Connector Examples

Pre-built Selero Connectors support session-layer semantics as described in message specifications, such as session maintenance. At a technology level, Connectors support transport protocols such as sockets (TCP/IP – unicast and multicast), JMS, MQSeries, Database, FTP, Telnet, HTTP and files to name a few. The transport protocols supported by individual Connectors vary.

Financial Information Exchange (FIX): used to facilitate electronic exchange of information related to securities transactions.

Common Message Switch (CMS): used to allow member firms to communicate with the NYSE when placing orders and executing trades.

Nasdaq's Computer to Computer Interface (CTCI): integrates with ACES, CAES and ITS, Primex, SuperMontage, and SuperMontage Directed Order Process1.

Exchange Transaction Protocol (XTP): used to integrate to the FINRA Alternative Display Facility (ADF), which is operated by FINRA for it’s members to use to post quotes, and report and compare trades for Nasdaq, NYSE and AMEX listed equities and related securities including exchange traded funds.

Securities Information Processor (SIP): Under the UTP plan, all U.S. exchanges that quote and trade Nasdaq issues must provide their quote and trade data to the SIP.

Consolidated Quote System (CQS) / Consolidated Trade System (CTS): The CQS collects and processes all equity quotes in listed securities, local issues, and bonds from all US Stock Exchanges and the Nasdaq. Trades and associated administrative messages in listed equity securities that meet Amex or NYSE market eligibility regardless of the market center on which such trades occur, local issues and Network B bonds are reported to the Consolidated Tape System.

MMTP: connectivity to the AtosEuronext application that provides trading and clearing services.
