John Dugan - Partner/Co-Founder, OCA Ventures
Mr. Dugan is a Partner and a Co-Founder of OCA Ventures and a General Partner with the O'Connor Partners Investment Office. Previously, he was Managing Partner of O'Connor & Associates. Following the acquisition of O'Connor & Associates by SBC in 1995, Mr. Dugan became the CEO of the Americas for Swiss Bank Corporation. Mr. Dugan, who joined O'Connor & Associates in 1981 as Controller, was named General Partner in 1983 and became Managing Partner in n1989. Before working at O'Connor & Associates, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Purcell, Graham & Company. Prior to that he worked at Bear Stearns & Company as Vice President & Controller and at Baker, Weeks & Company as Vice President, Operations & Chief Financial Officer. He began his career in financial services at Brown Brothers Harriman & Company. Mr. Dugan holds a BA in Business Administration from Pace College. He also attended the U.S. Naval Academy for two years.

Phillip Dignan – Managing Director, Appian Ventures
Mr. Dignan is a founding member of Appian and serves on its investment committee. He currently serves on the boards of Skyetek; Valen Technologies and IBSN. Previously, he was a general partner of Roser Ventures, a Boulder, Colorado venture firm where he had the privilege of serving on the board of several firms, including Outlast Technologies, Tian Software, MobileForce and Ischemia Technologies.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Dignan was a vice president of Salomon Brothers International London in foreign exchange management and a vice president of Salomon Brothers Asia in Tokyo where he headed foreign exchange, corporate and institutional sales, and managed Australasian fixed income sales to central banks, pension funds and corporations. Before joining Salomon, Phillip was a fund manager and futures trader for National Mutual Life in Australia.

Mr. Dignan holds a B.Economics and B.Economics Honours from Macquarie University in Australia. He is a current member and former director of the Colorado Venture Capital Association.

Fred Horn - CEO
Mr. Horn is responsible for setting Selero's strategic direction, building a comprehensive structure for successful execution, and driving profitable growth.

Prior to joining Selero, Mr. Horn was a senior executive at New Era of Networks for five years, playing lead roles in all aspects of the business from engineering to sales, and culminating in the role of EVP of Operations. Mr. Horn was responsible for worldwide software sales, professional services and partner / channel development, driving $200 million in revenue and a staff of 500 located in Denver, New York, London, Zurich, Tokyo, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Sydney. During his tenure, New Era of Networks grew from $3 million to $200 million in revenue and from 70 to 1000 employees.

Prior to New Era of Networks, Mr. Horn was a partner in the management consulting practice of Ernst & Young developing and implementing strategic technology initiatives in international clients such as Bank of America worldwide, Swiss Bank Corporation, JP Morgan, and Nicholas Applegate.

In addition, Mr. Horn was the co-head of Equities Information Technology at Goldman Sachs, where he was responsible for worldwide basket (program) trading, portfolio accounting, and the customer statements and position keeping systems.
